Our Story

What started as an unexpected connection turned into the greatest adventure of our lives. From our very first conversation, we knew there was something special between us.

Together, we’ve explored new places, shared countless laughs, and built a love that feels like home. Every trip, every quiet evening, and every spontaneous moment has brought us closer.

Now we’re ready for our biggest adventure yet — and we can’t wait to celebrate it with the people we love most.

FAQ

Do I need a passport?

Yes! You will need a valid passport to travel to the Dominican Republic. Make sure your passport is valid for at least 6 months after your return date. If you don’t have one, apply as soon as possible — processing times can vary.

What’s the weather like in February?

February is one of the best months to visit Punta Cana. Expect warm, sunny days with temperatures around 80°F (27°C) and low humidity. It’s the dry season, so rain is unlikely. There’s a cool breeze at night, so no need to worry about getting too hot during the reception. Pack sunscreen and light, breathable clothing!

Can I bring my kids?

Yes! Children are welcome. Please include them when you RSVP so we can plan accordingly.

What if I’m not staying at the resort?

We highly recommend staying at the resort! If you don’t, you’ll miss out on the after-party on our wedding night and a lot of group activities we’re planning — like surfing, yoga, snorkeling, and more. We’ll be putting together an itinerary of group activities. Here’s a sample of what’s available at the resort: • Surfing & boogie boarding on Macao Beach • Yoga & fitness classes • Snorkeling, kayaking & sailing • Water park with slides & lazy river • Spa & wellness treatments • Tennis, basketball & bowling • Dance lessons • Nightly live shows & themed parties If you’re not a resort guest, you’ll need to purchase a pass to enter the property. Wedding passes are $80 per person and cover the wedding events — you must arrive at the start and leave at the end of the reception. Day passes are $180 per person and give general resort access but typically only until 6 PM, which is before the reception ends.

How do I get from the airport to the resort?

If you book through Destify, transportation can be arranged through their platform at an additional cost. You can also arrange a private transfer or taxi from Punta Cana International Airport (PUJ). Depending on all the guests’ arrival dates, we may also coordinate a group transfer at an additional cost. The resort is approximately 30–45 minutes from the airport.

What should I wear?

The dress code is Beach Formal. Men: suits, no ties, no shorts — jacket required for ceremony. Women: elegant flowy long dresses — not sundresses. Shoes are optional since the ceremony is on the beach. Check out our Dress Code section and Pinterest board for inspiration!

When is the RSVP deadline?

Please RSVP by September 1, 2026 so we can finalize the headcount with the resort. The earlier the better!

Can I book my own flight?

Absolutely! You can book through Destify for a bundled experience, or book your flight independently. For airport transportation, booking through Destify ensures a reliable, vetted service. You’re also free to arrange your own transfer — it can be significantly cheaper, but be cautious as there are scammers in the area. We recommend researching reputable transfer companies in advance.
